It feels native
Built for each platform on its own terms — real gestures, real navigation, proper support for dark mode, dynamic type and the accessibility settings people actually depend on.
In development
We'd rather show you an empty page than a fake one. Our first iOS and Android apps are being built right now — when there's something worth installing, it will be here.
The standard
Before anything of ours reaches a store listing, it has to clear all three of these. No exceptions, no "we'll fix it in v2".
Built for each platform on its own terms — real gestures, real navigation, proper support for dark mode, dynamic type and the accessibility settings people actually depend on.
A notification has to earn its way onto your lock screen. No streaks, no nudges, no "we miss you". If the app has nothing useful to say, it says nothing.
On-device wherever the feature allows. When something genuinely has to sync, we'll say exactly what leaves your phone and why — in plain words, not a privacy policy nobody reads.
How they'll be priced
No advertising. Ever. An app funded by ads is designed to keep you inside it, and that shapes every decision that follows.
No selling your data. There's no version of Meina Tech where your information is the product.
Pay once, or don't pay. Where an app costs money you'll know the price before you install it, and it won't quietly turn into a subscription later.
Fair warning
Guilt is not a feature. If you don't open our app for a month, nothing bad should happen to you.
If an app works perfectly well without knowing who you are, it won't ask.
A screen you can reach the bottom of is a screen you can walk away from.
The world has enough. We'd rather make the small, dull, useful thing nobody else bothered with.
Send us a note and we'll tell you when the first one lands. That's the only thing we'll ever use your address for.
